Activities > Facilitation
First among our aims is to foster the role of Jakarta Centre for Law Enforcement Cooperation (JCLEC) as a confluence point and resource provider. As a fully equipped and secure training centre we facilitate the dissemination of leading edge instruction and knowledge-sharing for the greater good of the enforcement community.
A Unique Role
JCLEC provides a unique role of being able to bring together those with a need and those who offer state of the art training techniques and enforcement skills. We are able to create and host tailored solutions combining the support of our sponsor stakeholders with quality accommodation and teaching facilities to create a secure and conducive learning environment.
When ASEANAPOL sought to strengthen its ability to counter human trafficking on a regional basis, JCLEC responded with access to funding from Denmark, curriculum from the Australia-Asia Program to Combat Trafficking in Persons (AAPTIP) and in-kind contributions of subject matter experts from AAPTIP, the Australian Federal Police (AFP), Canada, the Philippines, New Zealand and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
